Not a lost weekend in gay Nong Khai
Many more obstacles on the long way to gay Tabatinga
By Suzy Size, your gay guide through the world

The way to gay Tabatinga in the Amazon area is getting longer
Look, gay traveler to the world, your heroine had another hectic week in Pattaya and gay Nong Khai and could therefore not find out more about legendary gay Tabatinga in the Brazilian Amazon region as promised to you last week.
Another broken promise of Miss Size, you may rightfully say!
Suzy Size is so sorry, but you will probably better understand your hectic heroine when you have finished this installment of this almost eternal gay travel blog.
Wednesday morning Suzy Size headed to the Theprasit branch of her beloved Siam Commercial Bank in order to get a confirmation letter for the Thai Immigration. In order to receive a retirement one year visa, the farang in question – Miss Size – has to keep 800000 Baht for three months on his or her account before applying for renewal. These 90 days had passed and your humble heroine got said confirmation without further delay.

The car was full with precious plants
Thursday morning Suzy Size and Khun Amorn, her boyfriend of so many years, headed by car in direction of Nong Khai where Castelgandolfo II, the winter residence of your heroine, is located. The car – a Honda Jazz – was packed with precious plants grown in the luscious gardens surrounding Castelgandolfo I, the somewhat pompous residence of Suzy Size outside Pattaya. Hans Fritschi, the unimportant secretary of your heroine, for many months now writes a gardening column in “Der Farang”, the German language Magazine, in praise of the sheer unbelievable gardening successes of your heroine. Not only has she managed to grow countless Graviola (soursop) trees, 700 cocoa seedlings, coffee, vanilla and eight varieties of figs, she also has mastered yellow lemons, gacs and strange and normal looking pineapples. A German guy in Udon Thani had – through Hans and “Der Farang” – heard about all those gardening wonders and ordered plants for 12000 Baht. Vain Miss Size wanted to deliver herself and get all the applause for those gardening achievements alone, even though her able Thai gardener should actually stand in the limelight.

Back at the shores of the mighty Mekong
After the delivery they picked up Connie Lingus who had flown in from Canada via Bangkok to Udon Thani. Connie, a dear, dear friend of your heroine, wrote that famous gay advice column in “Thai Guys” and later “Sticky Rice” Magazine, her timeless (old) pieces can still be read here on the Sticky Rice Gay Guide Asia and Gay Guide World website.
Friday morning Suzy went to the Nong Khai Immigration and got her one year visa: This time they were rather unfriendly and Suzy now thinks she will in the future deal with Pattaya Immigration which is also unfriendly and crowded, but not eight or nine hours drive away.
Gay bar in Nong Khai visited

You will probably give even more to your friends
Saturday night Suzy Size and Connie Lingus had a splendid hot pot dinner at the banks of the Mekhong. Then the two grey ladies entered New Oasis Bar which reopened under new ownership just recently. This is the only gay host bar of Nong Khai and when Suzy entered that place the first time on a visit in January, Keekee, the manager, first thought Miss Size was a so called “real man”. This time around – accompanied by super flamboyant Connie Lingus – there was not the shadow of a doubt about the real nature of your heroine. The only host that night, Khun Ting, was 24 years old and joined the two “femmes fatales” at their table. Suzy Size at one point – she was slightly drunk – squeezed one of his sizeable nipples and then inquired about an in-house short time room, but they have no such emergency facility at New Oasis. Since your heroine does not take any boys home, she made arrangements to meet Khun Ting next day, around noon. Then the two grey ladies made a last bar stop at gay friendly Manchester Arms which is owned by Steve who also owns New Oasis and is the boyfriend of Keekee: There is only a small gay world in Nong Khai.

A little hunk on the long way to Tabatinga
Sunday morning Suzy Size went shopping at Tesco Lotus. Yves, an old friend, came over from Laos to see Suzy Size and Connie Lingus whom he both knew well, but for some strange reasons they all had not had any contacts for almost ten years. Miss Size was still cooking her famous goulash when Khun Ting called, but Suzy Size – out of stress – had to cancel that short time appointment at short notice. She still had to cut the potatoes and the meat was not yet soft, etc:
Cooking her famed goulash and thus to impress critical Yves is more important to Suzy Size nowadays then getting laid on a fine Sunday afternoon?
Yes, such is the sad state of mind of your stressed heroine these days!
But she is sure, meeting up with Darick, darling, in Belem will rejuvenate your heroine and her stamina and her general interest in sex will most certainly return.

Gay angels met in Nong Khai that memorable night
The evening with Yves was splendid, indeed. They arrived at the house around 4 pm and talked and drunk away the night like in the old days. Only at 3 am did the three tarts retire to their three rooms.
Monday morning they dropped Yves at the border and drove back to good old Pattaya. Connie Lingus and Suzy Size visited
Boyztown.
Tuesday night they stayed home and worn out Suzy retired early.
Wednesday morning they had to drive to Bangkok to order a pickup for the ever increasing plant business and dropped Connie Lingus there. Suzy went to the Swiss embassy to pick up her brand new passport. The old one had only two empty pages left and that is not enough for the planned trips to Brazil and Myanmar.
This is the breaking news: Before going away for three months to South and Central America, your heroine squeezed in a visit to Myanmar with her old friend Michaela Primavera by the beginning of March.
Thursday morning Suzy went to the Pattaya Immigration to transfer her new one year visa from the old passport to the new. But they said, they could not do it and your heroine is thus forced to return to Nong Khai next Monday, this time by plane via Udon Thani, that is a bit more comfortable than 8 or 9 hours in a car.
Miss Size inquired about visa for Myanmar at her favorite travel agency in Pattaya and this costs 5000 Baht, the one for China 2400.
So Suzy Size now thinks she will hop over from Nong Khai to Laos and try to make the visa there, for Myanmar and China that is.
The routing (or these fresh legs) of the never ending Gay World Friendship Tour thus get more complicated by the day, but more interesting too.
And the back-detour to Nong Khai gives your stressed heroine the chance, to add that missed carnival pleasure with Khun Ting.

Suzy Size will keep you posted about all the major events that will take place on her very long and increasingly complicated way to Tabatinga, but till she can in earnest plan and reveal the last details, patience from your side is required.
