Look, gay traveler to the world, your almost divine heroine Suzy Size really likes hibernating in Pattaya, but when spring arrives – which is the awfully hot season in Thailand – she regularly gets that intense wanderlust and wants to see parts of the globe she has never visited so far and revisit places – and boys - she liked in the past. So Miss Size has contacted this week Carsten, her able travel agent at Go Thasadej for advice. Suzy Size was thinking of visiting the Amazon region of Brazil, going up the river to Peru, then through Central America, Mexico and maybe go to some of the interesting islands of the Caribbean, like Cuba. But, as you may know, these are tough times economically and the readership of Sticky Rice Gay Guide Asia and Gay Guide World has so far donated little money to the noble cause of your heroine, to describe the whole fucking world from a gay perspective. (If you finally want to send money, you can do it right here.) In other words, Miss Size is always looking for good deals, since little dough has been committed for the noble cause up to now. You do feel a bit guilty now?

There was one affordable routing with Delta via Tokyo and Atlanta, but a horrific and time consuming schedule. The other reasonably priced rout went over Amsterdam, but KLM is not in the Star Alliance where Suzy Size is a member and has quite some miles collected in the past. Suzy – or rather Carsten, her agent - was looking at flights going in and out of Madrid and Lissbon, paeng, mak mak! But then your heroine remembered a guy she met last year in Fortaleza who had flown there on a cheap ticket out of Milan. So Carsten checked that and got a flight with TAP from Milan to Lissbon, Lissbon Fortaleza and back from Caracas in Venezuela to Lissbon on to Milan for 35000 Baht. These flights are cheaper than those starting in Lissbon with the same airline, the same airplane and more miles within the Star Alliance are attached as well!

It is a queer world.

Flying backward to gay China

Then the only little problem was finding a flight from Bangkok to Milan and back to Bangkok. The excellent Turkish was very expensive this time around, Lufthansa and Swiss as well. The cheapest flights with most miles were offered – strangely enough - by Air China and lead from Bangkok to Beijing, Beijing to Milan or Frankfurt (and back) for roughly 29000 Baht. Stopovers in Beijing are free of surcharge, so Suzy Size will try to renew friendship with horny Chinese gays in that capital. Your heroine has fond memories of Destination Disco where she last time around met a very nice, young, gay Chinese man who was in old Western men and not asking for any money at all. Miss Size certainly wants to hunt there again and is now looking for a hotel or a benevolent gay reader who would lodge her against a copy of her infamous book “Wanderlust in gay Asia”!

After some days and hopefully hot gay nights in Beijing your heroine will fly to Frankfurt and there either take a train or a cheap flight to her beloved native Zurich where she already has scheduled lots of reunions with friends. Tons of tears will probably be shed during those heartbreaking, but memorable events. Then she plans to take a scenic train ride through the alps to Milan and spend an afternoon and a night in this fantastic city. Revisiting gay Fortaleza and Brazil

Next morning she will fly to Brazil and thus revisit gay Fortaleza. Undoubtedly she will return to fabulous Dragon Health Club, strictly for health reasons only. But your nosy heroine could not but notice that there are two more gay saunas listed in the ever growing Pink Pages for gay Fortaleza and her ardent interest in architecture will certainly force her to take a very close look at them with her – hopefully obsolete - magnifying glasses.

Then Miss Size probably will proceed by bus or so to Belem where she has never set foot yet so far and here the mighty Amazon river flows into the sea.
