China, gay sex tourist, is presently an inexpensive country to travel. Being now back in Castelgandolfo for a short time -before leaving for Russia, my love - Suzy did the maths and concluded, she spent about 60 US $ a day during her month long trip, including absolutely everything: Transport, food, drinks, accommodation, tips to willing boys (if necessary), entrance fees etc. After Beijing – where your two heroines found out that the train ride to Tibet was not possible due to still very repressive visa rules for individual travelers - Suzy and Magna changed their original plans. They took another overnight train from Beijing to Xian where the world famous – rightly so! - Terracotta soldiers were visited – certainly the cultural highlight of the whole trip - and then went further on from Xian (by plane) to Kunming.

But those two legs (Xian and Kunming) proved to be not interesting, strictly homosexually speaking. It is not, that there are no gays, gay venues or cruisy parks in those places, of course there are, but Suzy and even Magna felt a bit tired, worn out, just not in the mood to search for them, which – at times - can be an arduous task if your Chinese is rusty or inexistent. Both your heroines are spoiled – naturally - by the easiness of all such endeavors in good old Pattaya, too. Besides, Suzy and Magna had grasped, they knew by now how to operate in China which certainly was part of the goal of this educational trip: Avoiding the tempting, but expensive gay massage services that often promise much more than they finally deliver, visit bars or saunas or just trust your gay conventional senses. So Suzy will spare you the details of Xian and Kunming and fully concentrate on her wonderful time in Beijing in this episode - featuring her uncomfortable, but interesting trip from China overland to Luang Prabang (Laos) next week.

It was another top modern bullet train that brought your two gay sentinels in 6 hours (for 275 Yuan, 39 US $) from Qingdao to Beijing, the capital of China. Suzy cannot remember to which one of the many top modern train stations - there are four or five such stations in the Chinese capital – that train was driving. Your two traveling heroines had booked Kelvins Studio Apartments for 5 days. This friendly Chinese (gay) guy offers inexpensive studios with air con, TV, fridge, microwave, wireless internet, bath with hot and cold shower in a central Beijing location (for the details as always go to the Pink Pages of Sticky Rice Gay Guide Asia and Gay Guide World where basic information and a clickable entry is to be found). Suzy and Magna sat in a taxi in direction of New World Center Shopping Mall when they called Kelvin – the owner of the studios - on the phone who then gave the driver more detailed driving directions in Chinese. He dropped the two grey sisters in front of a famous Beijing noodle shop, called Noodle King and Kelvin arrived in no time on a bicycle. Everything proved to be as advertised and after being paid, friendly Kelvin left Suzy and Magna with those magnetic key cards for the main entrances and an old fashioned metal key for the room door. Though small, the room was absolutely fine and the location really was central (close to the old train station and not very far from Tiananmen square) and fortunately very private, indeed.

Suzy has last been to Beijing about 15 years ago and just was amazed about that incredible transformation of that huge city. Of course she could remember the old train station and believes she even found that old hotel she stayed nearby all those years back. And infamous Tiananmen square is still the same, but maybe controlled even more strictly than your heroine remembers. But besides that? About 90 percent of all motorcycles are electric and – judging by the age of them – must have been driven by batteries for years. The air – compared to 15 years ago – is absolutely clear and much better than in Bangkok. Nobody spits on the floors any longer. People are extremely kind and helpful, not rude as hell as before. (Maybe they were reeducated for the Olympics?) You see countless shopping centers all over, top modern facilities, consumerism blooming at an unabated speed. Suzy watched all those Chinese masses eating Big Macs, Kentucky Fried Chickens and all that horrible fast food in the ever same outlets everywhere on the whole planet. She (herself) had her – by now traditional - Chinese breakfasts at KFC, consisting of coffee and those little egg tarts – yes, Eduard, if you are still with us, there, Suzy, the old tart maniac, goes again! Will you believe this, Eduard? A female tart (hooker) approached Suzy right there at KFC, drew the innocent maiden heroine of yours into a conversation and then offered to visit her at her private quarters, having clearly the private parts of Suzy in mind – besides terrible abuse of said private parts. And then – afterwards - would certainly have presented a bill, for services not even desired at all and almost unspeakable of for a honorable gay lady.

So after that traumatic experience Suzy still had her breakfasts at KFC, but was extremely watchful with whom to converse in that obvious vice den. But besides she preferred traditional Chinese food, had this delicious beef noodle soup at Noodle King more than once or even Beijing Duck when she was invited by an old friend to a typical Chinese feast at a restaurant. But, gay sex tourist to China, Suzy hears you asking, where is the meat? Magna discovered it at a nearby park, made two catches, but could only drag one to her room. And he was too shy to be introduced to Suzy Size properly, so Suzy has to bank on the most enthusiastic descriptions of grand old Magna.

At the minute your heroine entered, she could not but notice a young man with a funny hat, slightly reminding her of singer Billy Mo when he so successfully was performing his almost unforgettable song “Ich kauf mir lieber einen Tirolerhut” in 1962 which became quite a hit then in Germany. Said young man laid eyes on your graying heroine right from the minute she entered. Suzy was of course flattered, but secretly wondered if there might something be wrong with his eyes? But, no, he really showed interest in your heroine, followed her everywhere through the premises of Destination. Soon they conversed with each other - he spoke an excellent English – and only a little later they were extending deep and passionate French kisses.

They stayed close together at Destination for at least an hour, kissing, embracing, touching here an there or simply holding hands like teenagers. Magna had made a catch herself and did more or less the same just besides them, but then decided to go home with her boy. Suzy and her newly discovered prince charming had another beer and gin tonic respectively at lively Destination. Suzy was so preoccupied with her love of that night whilst on those inviting premises, she missed to inspect the upper floor for you, gay sex tourist to China, very sorry, you got to do that yourself. Then her new companion became hungry – a bit like the boys in Thailand. So they went across the street to fancy Bellagio late night restaurant where – well after midnight – at least half the crowd was gay, the waitresses – with their short hair – looked all like lesbians. And then your old heroine and that fine young man finally went home.

He was 25 years old and stayed all night.

He just was after older men, not their wallet.

Due to the haste he had to leave to work next day, he forgot his watch.

Another successful meeting thus was arranged a few hours before Suzy left Beijing.
