|Twenty minutes from the Côte d’Azure, the relais du Peyloubet is a quiet 18th century farmhouse near the town of Grasse. In the early 19th century the Relais was a farmhouse raising olives and roses for the perfumeries. The area was a refuge for artists, including Picasso, after WWII. The property was was once a relay station for the postal system and formerly owned by the Russian dissident Alexandrovo (who now resides in the US).
